Dr. Stanzin Chostak is an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) at Campus Law Centre, where he has been a faculty member since 2018. Prior to joining Delhi University, he gained valuable academic and research experience at the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi. He holds an LL.B. from Campus Law Centre and an LL.M. from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, where he was awarded the prestigious Prof. L.R. Sivasubramanian Memorial Gold Medal in Comparative Jurisprudence during the 2011 annual convocation. He earned his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, focusing his doctoral thesis on the topic, “Impact of Climate Change on Mountain and Downstream Communities: A socio-legal study with special reference to Ladakh.” His primary areas of academic interest include Environmental Law, Jurisprudence, Public International Law, Law of Torts, and Criminology. He has presented research papers at numerous national and international conferences and has authored several publications in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals.
