About
A robust democracy not only allow debates, dialogues and discussions but also provides for an atmosphere where they can take root, experience growth and inspire change. With that as the guiding ethos, the Debate & Discussions Society (DDS) acts as a natural facilitator to the spirited culture of indulging in constructive dialogues and exchanges.
In addition to organising debates and discussions, the society strives to promote and facilitate free thoughts and opinions through its round the year activities, witnessing active participation from the vibrant student community. With a firm belief in the scope of deliberations and purposeful exchanges as an instrumentality of positive change, the Society hosts a plethora of events covering various facets of the society in general and legal field in particular. These events include CONFERO (Annual Debate fest of CLC), THE CLC OPINION PROJECT- TCOP (intra- debating platform of CLC), CLC TOWN HALL (Interactive Panel Discussions platform of CLC) and Abhiyaan– The lecture series.
