Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma

Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma is an Assistant Professor. He has over ten years of teaching experience, and has previously taught for over eight years at the National Law University, Jodhpur. His Ph.D. from NLU, Jodhpur is in the area of investment law, with a focus on the Indian FDI Law and Policy. He is a LL.M. (Gold Medallist) (2005-07) from the Indian Law Institute (Deemed University), New Delhi with specialisation in the fields of Judicial Administration, and International Trade Law. He did his LL.B. (2000-03) from the Campus Law Centre (DU). He has experience of teaching: investment law, law of evidence, international investment law, GATT, interpretation of statutes, law of corporate insolvency, company law, civil procedure, ADR, and professional ethics. Before embarking on his academic career, he also practised law in the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, and the Tis Hazari District Court, Delhi. He has also served as a Civil Judge (JD) for a while. His articles have appeared in various reputed international law reviews including, the Chicago-Kent Journal of International and Comparative Law, Intertax, Asian International Arbitration Journal, Business Law Review, Indonesian Journal of International & Comparative Law, and Asian Journal of Legal Education. He has presented papers in several prestigious law conferences including, the World Congress on International Law (2015), and ASIANSIL Biennial Conference (2013). 

Mr. Akash Deep Nagal

Mr. Akash Deep Nagal is Assistant Professor of Law at Campus Law Centre of University of Delhi. As a law educator, his research interests straddles around legal studies, Constitutional  and  Criminal Laws. His LL.M dissertation focussed on applicability of fundamental rights to private individuals and institutions from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi

His ongoing doctoral thesis from Panjab University revolves around the analysis on Death Penalty as a study on retributive justice vis-a-vis human rights of convicts. This continues to be an abiding research concern from him. To explore legal practices surrounding bringing change in society, he organised a lecture on” Law as a means of revolutionary change in the society” at University of Delhi. Along the way, he organised a colloquium on the emerging role of human values in legal system at Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.

Beside exploring legal studies he has been extending his research on life and vision of Dr. Ambedkar. In the subsequent direction, he participated in the national seminar on Dr. Ambedkar vision and the Constitution of India at Panjab university. Recently, he organised a colloquium on the vision of Bharat Ratna Dr B.R Ambedkar at University of Delhi. 

Dr. Anita Yadav

Dr. Anita Yadav is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Law (Stage II) at Campus Law Centre (CLC), University of Delhi. She has completed her LL.M. and Ph.D. from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore. Prior to joining CLC, she has worked as an Assistant Professor of Law at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, Christ University, Bangalore and Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Pondicherry University, Puducherry. In her previous institution (NLSIU) she was associated with Hon’ble Mr. Justice S Rajendra Babu (Former Chief Justice of India) to teach LL.M. students.

She has an excellent academic track record and has won various awards and scholarships over the course of her academic life. Recently she has been awarded with Global Pride Award-2023 at the occasion of ‘National Women Day’ for her academic contribution and performance in field at Constitution Club of India, Delhi. In June, 2022 she received scholarship to attend and present her paper in 80th  International Law Association, Biennial Conference at Lisbon, Portugal. In 2018 she received United Nations Asia & Pacific Regional course International Law fellowship. She was an Erasmus Mundus visiting research scholar at Georg-August University of Göttingen, Germany (2015-2016) and also a visiting fellow at the United Nations Human Rights Committee, 116th  Session, Geneva. She has been awarded The Hague Academy of International Law scholarship, Netherland in the year 2016 and the Junior Research Fellowship in Human Rights and Duties from University Grants Commission, New Delhi. She has qualified UGC NET (Law) twice. She has edited two books as assistant editor and published various research papers nationally and internationally. She has invited as Resource Person and Chaired paper presentation in various national and international seminar and has also represented the delegation of France in the Model United Nations held at The Hague Academy, Netherlands on the agenda “keep space for peace” in 2016.

Ms. Anumeha Mishra

Ms. Anumeha Mishra is an Assistant Professor at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She has been teaching law since July 2017. Her area of interest is public law and legal theory. She has worked as a Consultant at the Law Commission of India and has contributed to several Reports including the ‘Report on Hate Speech’, ‘Report on Gambling and Betting in India’ and ‘Consultation Paper on Sedition’. She has also assisted the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India in legal projects.

Ms. Apanjot Kaur

Ms. Apanjot Kaur is an Assistant Professor of Law at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi since January 2015. After completing LL.B (Hons.) from University School of Law and Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, she obtained her LL.M. degree from National Law Institute University, Bhopal with specialization in Business Laws and is currently pursuing Ph.D. from National Law University, Delhi. She is UGC-NET qualified. She has also worked as a Research Assistant with Dr Tamara Relis, Barrister, Professor, Touro Law School, London School of Economics and Columbia University. She was awarded ‘Scroll of Honour’by International Council of Jurists, All India Bar Association and All India Senior Advocates Association, on the occasion of ‘International Council of Jurists Awards, 2009. She also has experience of teaching at School of Law, Galgotias University. Apart from this she has participated and presented papers in various seminars and conferences. She has authored books titled, ‘First Sale Doctrine in a Copyright Realm’ and ‘Plea Bargaining’. She has also acted as a member of the Executive Council of the Indian Society of Criminology, Bhopal Chapter. Her areas of interest are Jurisprudence, Arbitration, Negotiation and Conciliation, Competition Law, Family Law, Law of Contract and Special Contracts.

Dr. Arti Aneja

Dr. Arti Aneja holds her Ph.D. from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in “Corporate Criminal Law”. Dr. Aneja has a vivid and diverse experience of teaching and she has taught in Law Centre- II and Law Centre- I prior to holding the seat of an Assistant Professor in Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She has delivered endowed lectureships at leading Universities and served on Editorial Boards of learned journals in several jurisdictions. Her Research interest dwells upon Corporate and Business Laws. She has extensive research experience and has a number of publications in various journals both home and abroad. She has presented several papers at various Seminars and Conferences.

Areas Of Interest: Corporate and Business Laws including Company Law, Competition Law, Corporate Management and Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Finance, Consumer Protection Law, Law of Contract, Special Contracts, Banking and Insurance Laws etc.

Ms. Atma Yadav

Ms. Atma Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Law at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, New Delhi. Before joining the University of Delhi, she was working as Assistant Professor of Law at Indira Gandhi University Rewari, Haryana. She holds Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak, Haryana. She is also enrolled at MDU, Rohtak as a Doctoral Scholar and is currently working on the area of Indian Evidence Act. Her topic of research is Law Relating to the Burden of Proof in India: Problems and Issues. She has a teaching experience of over four years at different academic institutions. She regularly teaches the Indian Penal Code, Indian Evidence Act, Property Law, and Contract Act. She has participated and presented several research papers in International and National seminars and conferences.

Dr. Cholaraja Mudimannan

Dr. Cholaraja Mudimannan is an Assistant Professor at Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He obtained his LL.B., (Hons) degree from Pondicherry University, Dr. Ambedkar Gov’t Law College, Pondicherry (currently Puducherry) in 2010. He completed the LL.M two years’ program with Specialization on IPR & Corporate Laws in 2012 at the Deemed University of Indian Law Institute (ILI), New Delhi. In particular, his course work at ILI was focused largely on law of Intellectual Property Rights, Bankruptcy, Online-Contract issues, Arbitration and Information Technology.  He also took courses in Comparative Constitutional Law and Comparative Jurisprudence.  

He is a PhD holder with JRF & SRF (UGC-RGNFD) from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi where his Ph.D. topic was “Digital Rights Management in Copyrights and other Intellectual Property Rights”. He has presented papers at national and international conferences and has published in the area of IPR, Corporate Law, Information Technology, Constitution and Comparative Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and Inter-disciplinarily in Intellectual Property Rights, before making the transition to academia. Doctorate with sound knowledge and expertise on Copyright laws having about 3 years of teaching experience, He will be teaching Professional Ethics and Advocacy to the Final Year students and Constitutional Law – II to the LL.B., in the Fall Semester of 2020.

Dr. Dinesh Dayma

Dr. Dinesh Dayma is an Assistant Professor of Law at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, New Delhi. Before joining the University of Delhi, he was working as Assistant Professor of Law at National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (2015-2018). He holds Bachelor of Laws from Gujarat National Law University(GNLU), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and Master of Laws from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. He also awarded his Ph.D. in area of Cyber Law at NLSIU, Bangalore. He has a teaching experience of over five years at different academic institutions. He regularly teaches courses in Law of IPR International Trade and International Commercial Arbitration, ADR and Information Technology law at Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses. He continues to write in the areas of Information Technology Law, Cybercrime, Intellectual Property Law. He has participated and presented several research papers in International and National seminars. Apart from his academic responsibility he actively involved in administrative responsibility as Member, Placement & Internship Committee, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, 2018-2019 and Member, Delhi University Student Union Election Committee at Campus Law Centre, 2018-19, Member, Attendance Committee at Campus Law Centre, 2019-20.

Mr. Ezekial Jarain

Mr. Ezekial Jarain is an Assistant Professor at Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. He completed LL.B & LL.M from University of Delhi. In 2012 he joined litigation where he assisted an Advocate-on-Record. During this period he was engaged in drafting works and made several appearances before the Supreme Court, High Court, District Courts, Tribunals and Consumer Forums.

He began his teaching profession at Law Centre-II, University of Delhi, in July 2013 and in 2018 he joined Campus Law Centre. He has been teaching commercial laws for most part of his 8 years of teaching. He has published a few articles and organized a few academic activities. He has been actively involved in various administrative works and currently he is the Convener of the North East Committee, Campus Law Centre, a member of NACC, Campus Law Centre and a Sports Advisor.
